Assessment Data
We collect responses to our 150+ behavioural and aptitude questions to generate your personalised Career DNA™ report. This data is used solely for career analysis and guidance.
Personal Information
Name, age, grade, school name, city, and contact details (email/phone) provided during registration.
Usage Data
Device type, browser, IP address, and pages visited — used to improve platform performance and user experience.
Parent/Guardian Information
If provided for the Parent Intelligence Report, we collect the parent's name and contact details with explicit consent.
Career Analysis
Your assessment responses are processed by our AI engine to generate a personalised Career DNA™ report with stream recommendations, career pathway mapping, and salary projections.
Platform Improvement
Anonymised and aggregated data helps us improve assessment accuracy and expand our career pathway database.
Communication
We may send you assessment results, career insights, and platform updates. You can unsubscribe from non-essential communications at any time.
Institutional Reports
If you access GuideMeAI through a school or institution, anonymised batch-level data may be shared with that institution for counselling purposes.
Encryption
All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3 and at rest using AES-256 encryption.
Access Controls
Only authorised personnel with a legitimate business need can access personal data. All access is logged and audited.
No Third-Party Selling
We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
Data Retention
Assessment data is retained for 3 years to allow you to track your career evolution. You may request deletion at any time.
Minor Consent
GuideMeAI serves students from Grade 8 onwards (typically 13+ years). For students under 18, we require parental consent before processing personal data.
School-Based Access
When deployed through schools, the institution acts as a data controller and is responsible for ensuring appropriate consent from parents/guardians.
Limited Data Collection
For minors, we collect only the minimum data necessary to provide the assessment and generate the career report.
Access
You can request a copy of all personal data we hold about you at any time.
Correction
You can update or correct inaccurate personal information through your account settings or by contacting us.
Deletion
You can request complete deletion of your account and all associated data. Career reports will be permanently removed within 30 days.
Portability
You can request your Career DNA™ report and assessment data in a machine-readable format (JSON/PDF).
